About Dan Cummins
Dan's unusual observations and unique autobiographical stand-up have earned him numerous television performances on The Tonight Show
(both Conan and Leno have invited him over to the couch!), Showtime's Live from Amsterdam, Comedy Central Presents
, a one-hour Comedy Central special ; Crazy with A Capital F, Last Comic Standing, Nickelodeon's Mom's Night Out
and on many other late night and cable programs.
He's currently a cast member on the popular World's Dumbest
series of popup commentary shows on TruTV, he just produced and appeared in a sketch comedy program, What the H? with Michael Loftus
for the History Channel, and he released his third CD; Hear This!
on Warner Brothers records.
Dan's built his act on the road, headlining clubs and hundreds of colleges across North America, and appearing in numerous festivals from Just for Laughs in Montreal (three separate times), and the Nando's South African Comedy Festival. His albums have made numerous, year-end best of lists, with iTunes citing his “razor sharp delivery”, and AmericasComedy.com referring to him as “one of the most effectively productive comedians performing stand-up today." LastGasComedy.com has perhaps summed up Dan's appeal the best: “We've seen a table full of Blue-Collar-Comedy fans elbow to elbow with college-aged hipsters and all of them were doubled over in laughter at the same Cummins bit. That's not always easy to do. The fact is, Cummins smartly writes to a broad audience, but his own intelligence and cleverness never gets lost in the mix. As a result, comedy nerds can still geek out on subject matter or how a phrase is turned. Top it all off with a giant dollop of unassuming likability. We say it's a win.”Must be 21 & up to enter; except on Friday's at 10:30pm which is 18 & up to enter.
