About Mark Eddie
Mark Eddie is a comedian with a musician’s point-of-view on everything from pop culture to parenting. With his acoustic guitar, signature voice & happy-go-lucky spirit, Eddie points out funny little things in the music we love while delivering dead-on musical impressions of Bret Michaels, Johnny Cash, Dave Mathews & Al Green to name just a few.Having toured professionally as a musician/singer, Eddie has a knack for putting a fresh, cerebral spin on the latest music headlines and rock & roll urban legends. With guitar in hand & tongue firmly in cheek, he answers burning questions like: What do heavy metal & polka music have in common? Can Neil Diamond sing Dr. Suess? “It’s either brilliant satire, or way too much free time on my hands”, says Eddie with a grin.As if performing 250+ shows a year at clubs, colleges and major corporate events for names like Verizon®, Bayer®, Disney® & Vans® isn’t enough, Eddie is also a successful commercial voice-actor. Over the years he’s spoken, played guitar & sung on hundreds of popular spots for Nickelodeon®, Showtime®, Sears®, Birdseye® & Nintendo DS® among others.Early on, Eddie toured extensively and opened for national acts like Jimmy Buffett, Jackson Browne, Melissa Etheridge & Toad the Wet Sprocket. He was featured twice in Billboard Magazine®, nominated five times for the NACA® “Campus Entertainment Awards” and charted in CMJ® while traveling the US. Currently, Eddie headlines L.A.’s legendary comedy venues where he’s known for rapid-fire rock references. “One day I just went from rock musician to rock comedian”, says Eddie.
